Account restricted? First steps
What to do — and what not to do — when eBay limits or suspends your account.
Do
- Read eBay's message carefully and note the exact reason given.
- Collect documents that may be requested: company registration, invoices from suppliers, proof of address.
- Keep serving existing orders and buyers.
Don't
- Don't open a new account to get around the restriction. It breaks eBay's rules and usually makes things worse.
- Don't send repeated or emotional appeals.
